In honour of the roots of speculative fiction in authors such as H.G. Wells and Jules Verne, the theme for this year’s CAN•CON is…STEAMPUNK

CAN-CON will include panel discussions, workshops, a performance Friday night with our Guest of Honour, Marie Bilodeau, and a Steampunk-themed social and dance will be held the Saturday evening of the Can•Con from 8 p.m. to midnight.
Wear your finest and socialize with the most social. Even if you don’t have anything to wear (from a Victorian/steampunk perspective that is), come and participate in this visual extravaganza. The social will be followed by a dance with everything from the venerable waltz through to the best of dance music... listen for the Steampunk themes.
